Professional Summary
Courtney Ann McKendrick began her legal career as a briefing and then staff attorney for the Honorable Sarah B. Duncan, Former Justice of the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio, Texas, which allowed her to hone her legal research, writing and advocacy skills. She then applied her skills to work in commercial litigation, specifically in antitrust litigation and appellate law at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld. She has also practiced products liability litigation. In 2003, Courtney focused her practice on construction litigation and has used her experience and skills to analyze disputes with forethought and honesty, keeping the interest of the client in mind at all times. With Curry, McSwain & McKendrick, and now Cokinos, Bosien & Young, she has been counsel at several successful arbitrations and trials and prepared others for obtaining successful outcomes for her firms' clients. Courtney was named one of the best construction attorneys in San Antonio for 2010 in the construction law category by Scene in San Antonio magazine
Courtney and her family enjoy spending time hunting, flying remote control airplanes and searching for great Texas bar-b-que.
