Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Rachel received her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Interior Design. Before attending law school at the University of Houston Law Center, Rachel worked as a designer at Gensler, a large international architecture firm, in both Atlanta, Georgia and Houston, Texas and is a Registered Interior Designer in Texas. While in law school, Rachel was a senior articles editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Rachel is also a former in-house counsel with the global architecture, design and engineering firm, HOK.
