Professional Summary
Luis is a native Texan born in San Antonio and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. After three degrees from the University of Texas, Luis began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with Harris County and was responsible for the prosecution of all levels of criminal offenses. In addition to Houston, Luis worked for the Special Crimes Unit of Bexar County, and ultimately for the Texas Attorney General prosecuting criminal cases across Texas. Since 1985, Luis has been Board Certified in criminal law and has dedicated his practice to the defense of individuals accused of criminal acts under state and federal law. Luis is "BV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell peer review ratings.
